Hi, my name is Jeff and I'm a 29-year-old PhD student at IUPUI studying healthcare informatics and working at a research lab at the medical school. I just bought this beautiful house that's a stone's throw from the medical campus and about a ten minute walk to the main campus. It's on a historical street in a safe neighborhood right across from Staples, Starbucks, and a bunch of restaurants including Au Bon Pain and Jimmy John's.
It's a three-bedroom house and I'll be renting the two first-floor bedrooms for the coming year. My friend Sheraz (who is also in my program and works in the same lab) will be living in the smallest bedroom and the spacious back bedroom is available for $550/mo + utilities. This includes a parking spot in the garage. The room will be available in August before the fall term for a 10-12 month lease.
You must be non-smoking, and no pets are allowed. We would prefer a med student or grad student but we are open to anyone in their 20s or 30s. You must be clean (in the common areas) and be willing to share chores with us.
Neither of us know too many folks in the area yet and we are looking for someone to hang out with as much as to live with. Sheraz is a doctor from India and I'm a computer scientist from Boston who started this community there. Please e-mail me with questions. Hope to hear from you!
